Fr. Seidel was ordained in 2014 after completing a graduate degree in theology from the Catholic University of America.

Following ordination, Fr. Seidel has served as:

• Parochial Vicar at St. Mary in the Spokane Valley 2014-2015
• Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral 2015-2017
• Parish Administrator at St. Anne- Medical Lake, St. Michael- Reardon, Mary Queen of Heaven- Sprague 2017-2018

During that time Fr. Seidel also worked as a formation advisor and faculty member for Bishop White Seminary as well as a police chaplain and later reserve officer for the Spokane Police Department. 

In 2018, Fr. Seidel was appointed to serve the WWCS as chaplain, teacher, and board member, in 2019 taking over the responsibility of school president. Since that time, Fr. Seidel has completed his MA in Educational Leadership at the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, he is currently serving as the pastor of St. Francis Parish here in Walla Walla.
